ASA Brothers and sisters,

I actually attended the Dawah in the West with my friend to learn more and get inpired. To be honest i felt that it helped me alot and i really appreciate the effort and time all the speackers and those who organized it have put into making this event a success. I would also like to say that after i have felt this conference i did indeed start wearing the hijab. I have always feared wearing the hijab because the thought about what others may say about me had a really big impact. But i have truly realized that i dont live for them or for anyone as a matter of fact, i live for myself and i shall only worry about what Allah may think about the decisions i make in my everyday like and not about any human being that eats, drinks and breaths like me thinks. Once again i would like to thank everyone for the big NEWS FLASH. I also liked the fact that each speaker pointed out the fact that it was never too late to change and that god does indeed forgive us because i always felt as if it was too late although im only 19 years old. The rest is up to me to turn my life around. Insha’allah i will continue to wear the hijab, pray five times a day and try to live my life as if it were to end right in that split second.Thanx again and i hope insha’allah there will be more conferences held in the nearest future.
